With the holidays comes fancy clothes, nice hair, and yummy food; however you cannot forget about your finger nails! Everyone sees them, but sometimes we get so caught up in chosing an outfit for the party that we forget about the little details. Sparkle nails are fun to do and are perfect for every holiday occasion. Today I am going to show you how to do your own sparkle nails for the holiday parties.
I bought a manicure kit from Sephora (Ciate - Sequined Manicure) for $14. However, you do not need to buy a specific manicure kit, this is a project that you can do with your own materials.
You will need the following:
- A bottle of clear nail polish
- Sparkles/Sequins
- A small makeup brush
Give yourself a manucure in the following steps:
- Remove all the nail polish from your finger nails with regular nail polish remover.
- Paint a coat of the clear nail polish on your nail.
- Dip your nail in the sparkles. You can also sprinkle sparkles onto your nail to cover up any gaps that you may have missed.
- Gently press the sparkles onto the nail.
- With the small makeup brush, wipe off any excess sparkles that you got on your fingers.
- Do steps 2-4 on the rest of the nails on your first hand.
- Paint a coat of the clear nail polish over the sparkles on each nail.
- Let your first hand dry for about 3 minutes.
- Repeat the previous steps on your next hand.
- When you have finished both hands, let them dry for about 20 minutes so they smudge.
Do you have a lot of magazines that you just do not know what to do with? Well I am one who loves reading magazines and I save every issue I have ever gotten! When I moved to college though, I realized that I could not take all my magazines with me. I then decided to create a magazine binder. 
I looked through all my magazines and cut out my favorite articles from each magazine. Since I never read the whole magazine twice I just saved the articles that I enjoyed and knew I would read again. Then I found a three-ring binder that was in my basement and I decorated the cover of it! I put all the articles that I had cut out in page protectors that way they would not get ruined. You can get hole-punched page protectors that go nicely in the binder. I also got page dividers so I could catagorize my articles. The catagories that I have in my binder are the following: Clothes; Shoes, Purses, and Jewelry; Hair, Makeup, and Nails; Health and Style Tips; and Extra Articles. With these different dividers it is easy to find specific articles s cute outfit ideas, color schemes, skin care, hair style ideas, etc.
